Purple Polish and a new Facebook page!

This beauty is Nicole by OPI Purple Yourself Together, a Target exclusive (Spring 2012 line). This polish is really sheer and I’ve got three coats on here in these pictures.

It’s such a great grape color, but don’t let that fool you. There is a gorgeous golden glitz to this that comes out. You can just start to see it in this picture.

I think you can really see it here with the flash!

Indoors, it looks a little more golden purple than grape purple. You *might* be able to see it in this next picture, but in addition to the golden glimmer, there are also some green glimmers. I can only see it with my contacts out and my hands right up to my eyes. So it’s not something that someone’s going to see and say, “Hey! That’s got green it in!” I think it gives it some depth.

This polish was a dream to apply! (I’ll have to do a tutorial on how I apply polish. I’ll save that for another post) It did go on very sheer and it probably would have been fine with just two coats, but I went ahead with the third coat just for my own mind. It’s not at all streaky and it didn’t puddle around my cuticles. That makes for easier clean up.

AND – I have created a new facebook page. There’s a link over on the right-side of the blog. Go like my page! We can talk nails over here AND over there!
