The Perfect Summer Vacay Mani!

I just got back from a great vacation with my family and my BFF and her family. We stayed near a water park so that was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Now, I don’t much like being out in the sun … mostly because I really dislike being hot and I don’t want to get sunburned. So, sunscreen is a must. But sunscreen is just icky and generally messes with the finish of my polish. I know, first world problems. But it still irks me when I have to apply top coat after ever visit to the pool because my polish isn’t shiny anymore!

And on vacation, I don’t want to bring along a full mani fixer. Really, just a few polish remover pads and a bottle of polish for touch ups.

Enter Zoya Miranda, a PixieDust from their Summer 2013 collection. Thanks to lanerbell over at Just the Polish for reminding me that this polish wears like iron and is a great vacation polish!

These two pictures are from day 5 of this mani! It still looks awesome AND it didn’t turn icky when we sprayed on the sunscreen.

It looked so pretty in the sun, pretty under low light and pretty under water.

Here’s a shot of my mani “in action.” But there wasn’t much action here for me…just sitting under the umbrella watching the kids go ’round and ’round all those stairs and slides!

You can purchase these online at Zoya’s website. And if you use that link (which is my referral link), and set up a new account, you’ll get a coupon for a FREE bottle of Zoya polish in your account. And if you use the coupon and add two more polishes to your order, you’ll get free shipping, too! You can find your coupon in the “My Coupons/Promos” section of your “My Account” page. You can also find Zoya on facebook, twitter and instagram. The Zoya Fairies are always up to something!
