I saw an amazing mani over on Swatch and Learn and decided I wanted to do something similar for my fun Halloween mani!
Here’s the base. The green has a coat of white underneath. Ignore my cuticles that aren’t cleaned up.
I went out with my nails just like this and got several compliments.
But, I wasn’t finished. I liked the googly eyes idea so I did those with white acrylic paint dots. If I used white polish, it wouldn’t have shown up as well.
And then a gradient. I love how these colors all go together! And the Sticks n Stones on top? Awesome sauce!
Because I know some of you are wondering, the nail art part of this mani took less than 45 minutes.
My right hand is the same except for the eyes on that hand look more frightened than frightening!
I was pretty happy with how this turned out. I’ll probably even wear it for several days!
And the polishes used:

SquareHue Grassland Safari – green
Julep Ashley – orange
Sally Hansen Triple Shine Vanity Flare – purple (Press sample, this product won’t be available in stores until November)
