Julep Tamara & Corrector Pen

I got my July Maven box in the mail yesterday and immediately had to try out one of the polishes. My choice was Tamara. It’s a lovely, bright, lipstick red creme and it applied beautifully. This is two coats (with top coat).

And here’s the fun part. I did the clean up sitting at my couch where I polished my nails! I used another item I received in my Maven box … this Polish Corrector Pen. It’s essentially a polish remover pen and the tip is like a highlighter tip. It was so easy! It helps that I’m pretty neat with my application anyway. My usual method is with a small eyeliner brush and my bottle of remover in another room. I loved being able to clean up without lots of extra equipment (so one pen vs. one bottle of remover and one brush isn’t that much of a difference).
